Cricothyrotomy training modules
Overview
Fellowing an expressed clinical need and to better meet published guidelines, Université de Sherbrooke has developed a compregensive cricothyrotomy training program.
The program has two components. The first is a series of videos showcasing correct methods for performing each of three cricothyrotomy techniques. The second is a hands-on workshop using various models (including procine larynx and mannequins) to practice the protocoles under expert supervision.
This website provides access to the training videos for:
- Two surgical cricothyrotomy techniques:
- The open Scalpel-Bougie-Tube crico technique
